I'm sure by now that many of you have seen images and videos on the coronavirus pandemic that has the whole world concerned like nothing WE have ever seen in our lifetime. It is good to learn as much as we can about something that has been able to effect the whole world and spread as much fear as it has sickness.
Any/All precautions are good and necessary to live as safe as we can.
But if we trust and have Faith in our Lord Jesus as the Christ we need not allow fear to enter our lives no matter how big or small, directly or indirectly it effects us or our family and loved ones. 2 Timothy 1:7
I'm sure you would agree that many of our parents and grandparents saw things as well in their lives that must have made them feel as if the end of the world was coming then, too.
Almost every generation, down through history could point to something catastrophically fearful in their time. The Bubonic Plague, Civil War, World Wars I & II but as a serious student of the Bible and specifically having a strong focus on the many "End-Times" prophecies it contains and reveals, it has become apparent to me that we are indeed living in the last days before Christ return! That we are no doubt looking at the "Birth Pains" as Jesus eludes to in Matthew 24:8
While Godly wisdom says that we are to PLAN our lives as though the Lord is not coming back for another thousand years, we should LIVE each day as if it will be today! Matthew 24:42
The phrase "Fear Not" is one of the most used phrases in the Bible, which tells me that Jesus (author of the bible > John 1:1 & John 1:14 ) is trying to comfort us in scriptures like, John 16:33
Even in death, which no one is exempt, we can rest assured that though we were dead yet shall we live! John 11:25 + 1 Thessalonians 4:13
A wonderful footnote to this very point is that if we ARE indeed in the last days, there is a Blessed Hope that the Bible teaches Titus 2:13 and our Lord proclaimed that some of us who are yet alive when He comes will not taste death! Matthew 16:28 & 1 Thessalonians 4:17 that should bring us all comfort and peace.
If you wish to learn more about this, Google and lookup scriptures on the Rapture, Harpazo and the Great Catching Away that despite being seldom discussed in church services and highly debated among Christian teachers, is very apparent all through the New testament and especially in nearly all of the letters written by Paul.
